Black and White Gift Box Cake {Sam's Birthday}

Here is the stacked gift box cake I made, requested by my sister- in- law Julie, she was giving it to her daughter Sam who was also enjoying her hens night over the weekend at the beautiful Gold Coast.

Inside is chocolate mud cake,  I made the flowers and bow on top all out of fondant.

The bow is covered in pearl lustre dust to make it nice and shiny looking.

The board is trimmed with black fondant and polka dot ribbon and the gift tag is printed
out on cardstock.

I hope all the girls had a great weekend! and thanks to Melissa
for transporting it safely to the venue!

Gun Club Anniversary Cake

This is the cake I made for the Warwick Clay Target Club in celebration of thier 130th Anniversary!
Two of the clubs members {oldest and youngest} cut the cake on the day, it is a great sport to get into and Warwick has one of the best clubs in Australia.  My husband is a member of this club, my brother is the President, my Mum runs the kitchen and almost everyone else on my side of the family shoots at this club so I was very pleased to be able to make the cake for this special day.

Both tiers are butter cake, all the decorations I cut from fondant icing so everything is edible.
I put a few clay targets smashing up as this is what they do when you hit them.

This part of the cake was made to resemble one of the clubs trap houses and the grey strips are the lanes where the shooters stand to take aim.

Happy Anniversary WCTC!

Rose Cupcakes!

These are the little rose cupcakes I made for my daughter to take to school today, the roses are vanilla cream hand piped straight onto the cupcake...I used the wilton piping tip number 127 for anyone wanting to try this out. Pink icing looks really pretty for these aswell, little girls will love them!

We decided to add some little purple fondant butterflies to them to go with our beautiful spring weather we've been enjoying here in Clifton these past couple of days!

Happy Spring!
